Daily Prayers for Everyone
"Prayer is nothing more than speaking to God from the heart...take diligent care to enlighten the mind and enkindle affections..."
"Holy prayer...may not diminish..but, continually burning on the altar of our hearts, may be enkindled all the more..."

The Morning Offering
O'Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day
for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throught the world,
in thanksgiving for all your favors,
in reparation for my sins,
for the intentions of all my relatives and friends,
and, in particular, for the intentions of our Holy Father.
Amen.
Act of Faith
O'My God, I firmly believe that You are one God
in three Divine Persons,
Farther, Son and Holy Ghost;
I believe that Your Divine Son became man
and died for our sins,
and he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe these and all the truths that the
Holy Catholic Church teaches,
because You have revealed them,
Who can neither deceive nor be deceived.
Amen.
Act of Hope
O'My God, relying on
Your almighty power and infinite mercy and promises,
I hope to obtain pardon for my sins,
the help of Your grace,
and life everlasting,
through the merits of Jesus Christ,
my Lord and Redeemer.
Amen.
Act of Love
O'My God, I love You above all things,
with my whole heart and soul,
because You are all good and worthy of all love.
I love my neighbor as myself for the love of You.
I forgive all who have injured me
and I ask pardon of all whom I have offended.
Amen.
The Angelus
The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
And she conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary...

Behold the Handmaid of the Lord,
be it done unto me according to your word.

Hail Mary...
And the Word was made flesh,
And dwelt among us.

Hail Mary...

Pray for us Most Holy Mother of God,
that we may be made worthy of the Promises of Christ.

Let us pray,
Pour forth we beseech thee O'Lord,
Thy grace into our hearts,
that we to whom the incarnation of Christ Thy Son
was made known by the message of the angel,
may by His passion and cross be brought
to the glory of His resurrection
through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Glory be ...(3x)

Angel of God my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side
to light and to guard,
to rule and to guide.
Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto them O'Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.
May their souls,
and all the souls of the faithfully departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace.
Amen.
Grace Before Meals
Praise the Lord,
The eyes of all creatures look hopefully to You O'Lord,
and You give them their food in due season.
You open Your hands
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
Let us pray,
Bless us O'Lord and these Thy gifts
which we are about to receive from Thy bounty
through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Grace After Meals
Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God,
Let all Your works give You thanks O'Lord,
and let Your faithful ones bless You.
We give You thanks Almighty God
for these and for all your favors,
Who live and reign forever and ever.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now and will be forever.
Amen.

Dane O'Lord, for Your namesake,
to reward with eternal life,
all who do us good.
And, may the souls of the faithfully departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
Prayer Before Work
Direct, we beg You O'Lord,
our actions by Your holy inspirations,
and grant that we may carry them out
with Your gracious assistance,
that every prayer and work of ours
may begin with You, and through You
be happily ended.
Amen.
Prayers Before Study or Reading
O'Lord, Your lowly servant, unworthy of any good,
wants to enter and see Your treasures.
May it please You to allow entry to this most unworthy person.
In the holy words of this holy lesson,
grant that we may love You as much as we know You.
Since I do not wish to know You
except in order to love You,
Lord God, my creator.
Amen.
Prayers for the Pope
Let us pray for our Supreme Pontiff Pope (N.)
The Lord preserve him and give him life,
and make him blessed upon the earth,
and deliver him not into the will of his enemies.
Amen.

-and/or-

We beseech Your Divine Goodness O'Lord,
that through the intercession of the
Mediatrix of all Graces, Mother of the Church,
that the fullness of grace may be given
for the welfare of the Church Militant,
and for His Holiness the Pope.
That grace may be given him clearly to see,
efficaciously to will and successfully to carry out
all that may redound to the honor of your Divine Majesty,
the salvation of all,
and the conversion of sinners.
Amen.
Litany of Humility
O'Jesus, meek and humble of heart, Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed, Deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being loved, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being extolled, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being honored, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being praised, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being preferred to others, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being consulted, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire of being approved, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being humiliated, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being despised, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of suffering rebukes, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being culminated, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being forgotten, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being ridiculed, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being wronged, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being suspected, deliver me Jesus.
That others may be loved more than I,
grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be esteemed more than I,
grant me the grace to desire it.
That in the opinion of the world others may increase and I decrease,
grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be chosen and I set aside,
grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be praised and I unnoticed,
grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be preferred to me in everything,
grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may become holier than I.
so long as I become as holy as I should ,
grant me the grace to desire it.
Amen.
