The Five First Saturdays:
While a Dorthian Sister, Lucia received a visit from Our Lady asking that she promote the celebration of Five First Saturdays in order to make reparation for sins committed against her Immaculate Heart. Our Lady gave the following instructions on how to make the First Five Saturdays:
1. Attend Holy Mass and Receive Holy Communion.
2. Receive the Sacrament of Confession
3. Pray five decades of the Rosary.
4. Keep Our Lady company for 15 minutes meditating upon the 15 mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

The intentions of the Five First Saturdays is to make reparation for those who:
1.Deny the Immaculate Conception.
2. Deny the Perpetual Virginity of Mary.
3. Deny her Assumption into Heaven
4. Destroy her sacred images
5. Lead young people to distrust her care and intercession.
This documentary entitled "The Call of Fatima" is, so far, the best and most complete documentary that I have seen on Fatima. It cover the apparitions of the Angel and Our Lady with some very good and unique detail. I highly recommend buying it and sharing it with family and friends.

A Summary of Our Lady's Requests at Fatima
1. Pray the Rosary every day, especially for peace.
2. Do Penance (make sacrifices) and Pray for the conversion
of poor sinners.
3. Make Reparation for Sins Committed Against:
a. The Holy Eucharist
b. The Sacred Heart of Jesus
c. The Immaculate Heart of Mary
4. Pray for the Holy Father
5. Make the First Five Saturdays in Reparation for sins
committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Basics of Fatima

The Angels said to the children:
Pray! Pray a great deal! The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy for you! Offer unceasingly to the Most High prayers and sacrifices.

Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Make reparation for their sins and console your God.

Our Lady said to the Children:
Fear not. I will not harm you.

Do you want to offer yourselves to God to endure all the sufferings He wills to send you, as an act of reparation for sins by which He is offended and as a supplication for sinners?

Then you are going to suffer a great deal. But the grace of God will be your comfort.

Say the Rosary every day to bring peace to the world and the end of the war.

He (Jesus) wants to establish the devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by myself to adorn His throne.

My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.

Continue to say the Rosary everyday in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war.; for only she can save it.

Sacrifice yourselves for sinners; and say often, especially when you make some sacrifice: O'my Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary I offer this sacrifice to You.

Some Facts About Fatima
October 16th, 1917, three days after the last apparition at Fatima, unbeknownst to him, Saint Maximilian Mary Kolbe began the Militia Immaculata, a group dedicated to promoting devotion to Mary's Immaculate Heart.
In 1981 Pope Saint John Paul II was shot on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, May 13th.
In 1984 Pope Saint John Paul II consecrated Russia, and the world, to Mary's Immaculate Heart.
Communism came to an end in Russia on August 22nd, the old Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
May 13th, 2000 Pope Saint John Paul II beatified Jacinta and Francisco in Fatima. At the same time he revealed the last secret of Fatima.
September 11th, 2005, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, Sr. Lucia passed from this world at the same hour and minute that Pope Saint John Paul II had been shot some 24 years earlier.
Pope Francis canonized Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta on May 13th, 2017, on the hundereth anniversary of the apparitions.

In the Book of Esther, which recalls the saving of the Jewish people while in Exile in Babylon. Queen Esther, a Jewish woman taken as queen to the pagan King of Babylon, must try to save her people from being exterminated. She asks the people to pray and fast, she herself will do the same. After three days of prayer and penance, Esther entered the court of the King and obtained from the King her peoples safety. She saved them on the 13th day of the month. It is believed that it was in connection with the Book of Esther that Our Lady appeared on the 13th day and always had a star at the bottom of her garment. Esther means "Star". There is no doubt that Our Lady, the Queen of Heaven, had come to us on the 12th day and has called us to prayer and penance so that we may turn away from sin and be delivered from our impending destruction.
