Prayer to Saint Thomas Aquinas
Dear Saint Thomas, gentlest of saints,
you loved Jesus so tenderly and wrote so well of Him,
that he made you the glory of the Church
and a shining star in the Order of Saint Dominic.
Encouraged by your kindness and charity,
I beg you to obtain this favor I now ask;

so that I may serve Him faithfully in this life
and enjoy Him forever in heaven.

St. Louis and Zelie Martin, today we to you in prayer.

and practicing the evangelical virtues
as spouses and as parents,
you have modeled for us
an exemplary Christian life.
May the example of your unswerving trust in God
and your constant willingness to surrender all the joys,
the sorrows, and the sufferings that filled your life
encourage us to persevere in our daily challenges,
remain faithful to God and His commandments and teachings
in all duties and trials,
encourage us to imitate the example of the Holy Family,
and to remain in joy and Christian hope.

Grant that I too may learn to turn all circumstances and events of my life
into occasions of loving God and serving the Church, the Pope
and all souls with joy and simplicity,

help them look up high again
to find the light that illuminates the paths
of life here on earth.

You warned of Satan's assault against this precious
and indispensable divine spark that God lit on earth.
St. John Paul, with your prayer,
may you protect the family
and every life that blossoms from the family.

and turned to Jesus for assistance.
Today you continue to turn to Him
on behalf of others stricken with this devastating disease.

a miraculous healing.

to relieve future generations of this great suffering.

Your faithfulness to God brought you so close to God
that you are now resting in His divine splendor.
